So in the last 5 months that I have been trying to lose weight and have lost 20 pounds and just started to use my fitnesspal. I am a horrible eater and that will never change. I do however make the time to go to the gym and try and push myself. In the last 3 weeks my weight loss has stopped. I have heard of this 24 day challenge, but for how much it is does it work? OPINIONS please hehe
I am looking for some motivating friends that can help with my weight loss and can give me some helpful hints along the way.I know that my diet needs to change but lets get real I LOVE FOOD hahahah

Hi. You should be very proud at losing 20 pound. I am still trying to lose 5. haha
I also LOVE food...well we have a love/hate relationship going on these days. Losing weight can be very difficult and having MFP and friends here is very helpful. I will send you a friend request right now!0 -
Well I did have a baby 9 months ago so that is part of it... I wouldn't have gained all the weight i did if I wasnt pregnant!0

Hey! You sound like me... I LOVE food and just the interactions you can have with people that always seem centered on food, but that doesn't mean you (we) can't make some changes to help us out. I really have been focusing on trying to eat more veggies and only have a day or two where I allow myself to eat whatever I want for dinner. I work at least 12 hours a day and go back and forth to meetings, so this has been tough for me lately, but I am making it work. Using MFP is really useful...as one friend of mine put it, it helps you see how much energy you are eating in calories so you know how much you need to burn off. Maybe make goals to 1) honestly log what you eat everyday (it is eye-opening), and 2) end your day in the "green" with calories left. See how that works.
GOOD LUCK!!!0 -
i used the 24 day challenge and its not a diet its a life style change and when i finished i went running back to my horrible eating habits! when ur done with the program u basically have to keep eating healthy in order to keep the weight off. my advice to you is to go on the doctor oz website bc he has tips and ways to get rid of excess weight where u can still enjoy food, just the right kinds. the main thing is, and the hardest thing i have realized is, dieting is never going to work in the long run, it has to become a lifestyle change.. if ur counting calories now, plan on counting them for the rest of your life if you want to keep weight off. we are just the lucky girls nicole who cant eat everything and maintain a skinny waistline (lame) lol. hey but at least we have men who love us!0

I have no self control and the fact that matt bought 25 boxes of girl scout cookies! I lost 40 pounds after highschool keeping busy amd going to the gym and kept it off for about 3 to 4 years but with graduating and drinking and then of course getting pregnant put the weight on and then some. I wanted to try the challenge but i know i will cheat when i do it and cheat when i am done..... lol so i just dont know what to do. I wouldnt care as much about my weight as i do bc lets face it im not super fat or anything just extra chubby lool but i have my best friends wedding to be in in june and right now i am the fatest girl! WTF lol
Read my food diary I eat like a fat kid lol0
