Exercise clothing that's appropriate for running errands in.

I know this is going to vary from person to person. I'm pretty particular what I wear out in public, no pajamas, I know a lot of people and need to be somewhat "professional" when I go out. However, when I'm going to be home all day, I usually put on yoga pants, I "could" wear them out, but I really don't want to. I have some other athletic clothing that I feel fine wearing out, but I do like the yoga pants, are there any that are more appropriate to wear to the store or other places that won't break the bank?
Do you run errands in your workout clothing?

Yup, I've been known to go to the store in my yoga pants from time to time. I'm not one to wear pajama pants in public either as I think that's a little over the line but most yoga pants are plain colors so they're not quite as obvious. For a good variety of styles and reasonable prices, I like shopping somewhere like TJ Maxx or Marshall's.0

I don't run tons of errands in my work out clothes but if I've got something to do & actually am going to the gym after I don't feel bad about wearing them. If I woke up on a Saturday & put on my sweats for fun & went to the grocery store...then I'd feel just plain lazy.0

Love my yoga pants! I will wear them to the grocery or post office or something like that...but not to the mall or out to lunch, etc (Don't laugh...I have seen some crazy stuff at the mall!)...lol - It definitely depends on where all I am going0

I wear my yoga pants to town all the time.....not out for lunch or dinner...but for errands Yup! I work at home and homeschool so I fit in my workouts through out the day inbetween things.0

I run errands in no make up and my work out clothes all the time. I actually love seeing people out in work out clothes.0

I am in work out clothing about half the time if I'm not at work. If I'm just out running errands like going to Target or the grocery store, workout clothes and no makeup it is!0

I wear my yoga pants way too often, so I'm not really one to advise you. But I was looking through the Athleta catalog a few months ago and noticed that they have workout pants that look like dark-rinse jeans. I admit that I thought, "Who the heck would want those?" But maybe they would work for you. I do love the Athleta stuff I own.0

Lululemon, Lucy, Athleta, ALL make comfy stylie work out clothes. And Lululemon give your bum a nice shape! I wear mine all the time! It's also my goal reward, when I hit a goal, I get a new "somthing" and wear the *kitten* out of it!!0

My body doesn't fall into the "wearing yoga pants for errands" category quite yet. But when it does, I might give it a try!0

I just ordered my first lululemon outfit and I'm so excited!0

i will wear them out if i cant change before hand but i hate wearing my work out pants out in public. i would rather have on jeans or a skirt or something on. i can't stand when women pick up and drop off there kids at school in workout pants. come on it takes like two minutes to run upstairs and grab real pants. but, hey, after reading most peoples comments, i guess im on my own with that.0
