Just looking out on all you guys on MFP, i asked this question to my friends as of recent and they gave me a few good ideas, but i want to see what the community thinks. I really want to get myself something when i hit my 20 lb lost limit, but i havent really had time to think about it. I dont want to really go splurge somewhere by eating out somewhere unhealthy, i want something that'll encourage me to work out more and keep that weight off instead of piling it back on. ANY SUGGESTION IS HELPFUL!

I am definitely trying to avoid FOOD rewards as that can so easily lead me into binge territory. I do plan to treat myself to a sushi dinner (normally way out of my budget) when I reach a certain number on the scale.
I think fitness-related rewards are great - whether it's new workout clothes or shoes, equipment, or maybe a massage. (Something I am getting the second I get my tax refund!!) Or new music for the iPod, workout DVDs, a session with a personal trainer, fitness-related books, etc.
Or some new jeans in a smaller size 'cuz yer pants are gonna be falling down soon and not in a fashion-statement kind of way!!
Defnitely celebrate those victories Brian, you are doing a great job and motivating and encouraging all of your MFPeeps along the way!0 -
Do something you have always wanted to do. For me there is a pottery studio in town and when I hit my twenty pound mark going to go there and make something with my hands. Plan a hike with friends and pack a great healthy picnic to share things like that10

Personally, I'm going on a shopping spree and getting my belly button pierced when I hit my goal weight. But I'm a girl...so yea.0

I think new clothes or shoes is a perfect reward. When I get to my first 10% I'm going to get some new sneakers since mine are already wearing out. Pick something that you want but have been putting off or thought was too indulgent for everday life (like the massage mentioned above!). Just make sure you know how awesome it is to lose 20 lbs! :happy:0

I bought myself a kayak when I hit my goal. I love using it, so it helps me to get out there and stay active.0

Personally I wanna spend a day going to all kind of free attractions plus indoor skydiving.
But maybe you could be interested in going to a favorite sports game, having an awesomely planned out movie night, try a sport you never tried before, indulge in a new wardrobe.....but you said cheap. Lol
Movie night, cook a dinner item you've been dying to try, new workout clothes, try out a new gym class, rearrange your room, I dunno. Whatever you do make it personal to you. XD0
