How would you grade your food diary?

Options
If you were to give yourself a grade for your food diary, what would it be?

Let's say..

A = absolute clean eating 90% of the time
B = clean eating 80%
C = clean eating 70%
D = semi clean eating, 60%
F = epic fail, I don't know why I even bother logging because it depresses me whenever I look at it.

I'd say I'm a solid B+ or so :) What about you?

    ooo, good topic, i would say on good days (week days) i'm a B+ also. One day a week i might hover between a D and an F!

    I'd give myself at least a B, possibly an A. I eat really healthy, my problem is I struggle to eat enough lol. Not on purpose, though! I feel like I'm always eating and yet rarely go near my 1570 cals. I even try to make sure my breakfast is at least 350-400 cals but some days I fail. I'm about to eat a low sugar/carb protein bar to up my cals.

    Based on what I consider "clean eating", I'd probably give myself a B. Clean, for me, is first and foremost about hitting my macros. I worry less about processed/prepared/evils than most people do. I'd probably be a C if I graded in those terms.

    This. I'm the same way. I eat often enough and I feel like I eat a lot. I usually not hungry. But there are days that I don't break 1200 cals and completely not intentionally. I LOOVE eggs so if I eat eggs for 2 meals I'm definitely under. hmm.

    F. Everything I eat is processed. On the plus side, I stay under calories.

    I'd say B. I've been reading the YOU: books (On a Diet, Staying Young) and a book called Anticancer (recommended by my aunt's nutitionist, my aunt's recovering from Ovarian cancer). These books have persuaded me to choose non-processed foods as much as possible. I figure -- if stay within my calorie guidelines & log everything, choosing well 80% of the time is a good place to be.

    A "B" during the week and closer to a C- or D on the weekend.

    If I'm not an "A" I don't want one.

    If your into reading about nutrition, I recommend the China Study by Dr Colin T Campbell. One of the most compelling books I've ever read.

    I'd say I'm an F, but without the 'fail' or being depressed bit. :tongue:

    I wouldn't say anywhere near 60% of what I eat is 'clean', unprocessed stuff. Maybe 30-40%, tops.

    If I grade it based on personal progress compared to how I ate before MFP, I'd give myself an A+. I don't care to grade myself on overall clean eating though, that would just make me sad. LOL

    WOW - 1 more lb and you'll be at 100 lost! What an amazing accomplishment! I just had to throw that out there. :-)

    I'd say I have an "A" since I do eat healthy most of the time and cook from scratch.

    Not sure what "clean" eating means but I took it as healthy :)

    I definitely haven't eaten anything dirty :laugh:

    Mostly a B+. If I do have a splurge day I go way over on calories, but usually on healthy stuff not processed junk. I rarely eat out, never have fast food, and I don't bring processed food into the house that much so...it's easier.

    Clean = natural state, not processed, etc.

    I'd call myself a B or B+. My diary probably looks a little worse than it is, because when I go out to eat, I just pick the closest prepared food item to log. On the flip side, at least 70% of the time, the places I choose to eat at are clean as well. (Clean, seasonal eating is very very trendy in my part of the Bay Area, so you can find clean foods at all price points, and for pretty much every cuisine -- even Mexican!)
