I shop a lot at Meijer and Aldi, I will get
Meijer-Apples $2.50 3 lb. bag, Grapes $1.19/lb.
Aldi-Avocados – $0.49/ea
Mangoes – $0.49/ea
Broccoli – $0.99/pack
Tomatoes on the Vine (24 oz bag) – $1.59/ea
I also want to get some pistachios, they just sound good.
I usually only buy stuff on sale and work around them to create meals/snacks.

I am currently on a mission to find a store that sells dried strawberries and dried kiwi- they taste like candy and although I'm sure they are not as healthy as fresh fruit... it's got to be better than munching on real candy !! lol0

I know Trader Joe's sells freeze-dried strawberries, but not regular dried ones. I've also hunted for these and they are hard to find!
ETA: They also used to sell (not sure if they still do) a dried fruit medley that has dried strawberries in it, along with some other berries (I forget exactly which ones.) Hope this helps.0 -

i bought a food dehydrator for around $20...so for a small investment you can make your own dried fruits and a lot less added "crap" than store bought ones would. it's also going to be strawberry season here in florida, so i can get strawberries for cheap really soon0 -
