    I'm kinda, sorta a Texan and I'm in Texas right now. I'm a fulltime RV'er spending the winter in the Rio Grande Valley, specifically, Mission. When we took to the road in our Rv we became Texans because, well, because, you don't have state income tax. That's not the only reason of course but it was close to the top of the list. We are also Escapee's which is located in Livingston. It was either become a Texan, a South Dakotian, a Floridian or a New Hamshire-ite (?). We picked Texas.

    So even though we have Texas plates on the truck and 5th wheel, we have Texas driver's licenses and our mail is delivered to Livingston, if the truth be told we are really Winter Texan's.

    Now, why am I here? I weigh too much. I gained that infamous 25 pounds when I quit smoking 3 years ago and I already weighed too much when I quit the cancer sticks. So I decided its now or never.

    Donnantx (donna in Texas) originially from Golden Triange Area (Port Neches, Port Arthur, Sabine Pass), lived in Corpus Christi area for 20 years, home base now in Comanche Texas...however...hubby and I are full time RVers and are currently living in Wyoming. (yes for the winter...I know...but not bad at all) but you cant take Texas out of the girl !!
