I love steamed sushi, I very rarely eat it do to the white rice. Is there another way to make it with brown rice or jasmine rice??

I buy it all the time with brown rice.0

I also eat it wrapped in brown rice and somtimes just order sashimi. I eat at the same place twice a week if not more so they pretty much accomodate whatever diet I am on at the time. I just can't get it up. Its the only thing I crave. I would eat sushi over candy and cake anyday. I limit myself to just one roll of spicy salmon with brown rice because of the mayo.0

I do my spicy salmon steamed with flavored cream cheese instead or hummus...0 -
I make my own at home... its affordable and that way i know the calorie levels in what i'm eating...
when we are craving a sushi binge... all we have to do is just make simple hand rolls of the sushi rice, imitation crab meat and cucumbers... works every time!0 -
I normally order sashimi only...although it is hard to resist a spicy tuna roll.
I occasionally buy a slab of sushi-grade fish from Whole Foods and go home, slice it up, and eat it with a little wasabi.

I am going out for sushi tonight...mmmm. Because it's a rare special meal, and I do want to try a couple special rolls, I am keeping my daily calories a little lower than normal to make up for a higher calorie supper. But I am more aware and will not get the tempura flake roll, and will fill up on more soup and veggies so I don't eat too much ricey rolls. And we are going to work out at the gym next door right before we eat.0
