how long do you wait to work out after eating

I normally work out an hour after eating, but just realised how late it had gotten and only just about to sit down and eat, but i normally workout in about 25minutes time, so just interested in others ways

It really depends on how heavy of a meal you have had if there are alot of carbs you need to wait about an hour if its a light pre workout snack like a protien shake 30 min will suffice but it really all depends, i would need an hour after eating a big bowl of pasta lol0
