Pedometer?

I love my pedometer. I find it so motivating. If its not up around 10,000 by late afternoon, I just walk or run on the spot to get the numbers up. I use it more to track just how much I have been moving throughout the day.

I guess this is the same as actually getting out and walking. Anyone else use theirs the same, or do you just use it when you actually go out for a walk????

I use mine always always always! I have a fitbit and i LOVE it! Not only tracks my steps but also distance, flights of stairs climbed, and calories burned. I sync it with MFP and I earn extra calories when it calculates that I have burned more than my expected daily burn. I get addicted to watching my numbers, I can't sleep if I haven't met my steps it drives me crazy. Great motivator!

    I'm such a dork...

I have a PokeWalker--- the more steps I take, the stronger my Pokemon grows (and the more it loves me, lol!)

My iPod nano is my pedometer and I typically only use it when I exercise (and that's what I input into MFP for calories burned). However, I do use it to track my steps to and from school to drop off my daughter because it's a half mile round trip, so twice a day gets me an extra mile. But I don't count that since I'm typically just poking along while pushing my son in his stroller.
