I feel horrible today!

I feel bloated and big. I feel like the harder I try the more the scale moves up. I dont feel like I got a good enough workout in today and wasted my chance to do another one.
I feel like giving up completely.
That's all.

I have days like that. it will pass! Have you been drinking lots of water? That often helps me with the bloat. Tomorrow's a new day with opportunities for better workouts! Hang in there. :flowerforyou:

Don't you dare give up. If you do, you'll end up feeling worse. Everyone has off days (I feel like I could eat everything in a ten mile radius right now) but don't cave in. Make healthy choices, drink lots of water, & get a better workout tomorrow :flowerforyou:

I felt like that this morning ( well actually still do) Gained 2 lbs last week even though I stayed with in my calories and even got a bit more exercise in. Made me wonder why all the logging and gym time if it's not making a difference. My Husband said not to give up he sees a difference (even if I don't). Really want a cup cake:-) but haven't. Have to go grocery shopping after work, hopefully even in this mood I can avoid buying junk.

I get this feeling all the time, but you can not give up because then all your hard work so far will be for nothing. It just takes time, as long as you keep at It and don't give up you will get the results you want, It just takes time.

Thanks girls. I am just really down today. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
I had to go to the store today too. I really wanted a candy bar. Instead I bought a Luna bar. It seemed to do the trick.

I am not very patient. I am use to results fast. When I decided to lose weight it all came off very quickly. Too quickly and I went way under. Then over. January 1st I started back on track and since then I have gained 3lbs. I readjusted my calories and think I am more on track now, but some days seem pointless.

well, if you give up, you can really only give up in the minute you're in. In the next minute, you have to give up all over again, for that minute. In the third minute you are going to have to give up for the third time....pretty soon, about five more minutes and you are going to be flat out tired of giving up and give up on giving up and decide to not give up anymore. It's EXHAUSTING!

oh you are so not alone. i have been feeling terrible for a week now. I hadn't lost anything in Jan, not even a inch and then feb everyone said to eat more, so i upped my calories. well 2 weeks later i lost 1 lb, so i thought : wow,it's working" but low and behold that only lasted 1 week, i gained that 1lb back and now i am up more...1.5 as of today. i feel like i try so hard, i have made so many positive changes ot my diet and exercising but it's getting me no where... I thought a goo 10 maybe 13 lbs would be off now... i had a goal of 5 month to loose at least 10 lbs maybe a few more but at least 10 and i am stuck at 7-8.... can't get over that. my goal date is only 20 days away and i know i won't be at it....

Please, please, please don't give up. We are all in the same boat here... we have weight to lose and we want to be fitter, healthier, better-looking. It's a hard process (if it were easy, EVERYONE would be doing it!) but one that requires commitment and discipline. After a while your hard work WILL pay off but you have to keep at it.

I'm so glad you posted here. We all need encouragement from time to time and you'll definitely find it here. I find myself excited to log on and see what my friends are doing, and to hear their encouraging words on my progress (or lack of progress... whatever the case may be!)

    Blessings. :flowerforyou:

I want to thank you all so much. I really needed some nice words today.
I usually can be very positive and feel like I am doing things right.
I know tomorrow will have to be better.

I upped my calories too, then gained weight so I lowered them. Gained some more weight. I think I just need to stick with my new plan and calories and give myself some time.
Have you tried changing up your exercises? I always see good results when I try something new.

don't over think it.... the only bad work out is one you didn't do. just stick with it, don't pay too much attention to what shows up on the scale.... part of what's made me stick with it is how great i feel from eating right and exercising.

ya i did . i was doing cardio about 30 min a day 3-5 days a week, now i added 30ds to the mix. i have gained 1.5 lbs since i started it, which is what happened last time too ( i did it in dec as well) so that doesn't help .... it gets me really off track, not knowing if it was more from the upping my calories or just 30ds. I decided i am lowering my calories back to 1200. This is what was working for me before x-mas, even thought i was a 2-2.5 loss a month, at least i had a loss.... I am sticking to this till the 20th, then go on my trip and re look at things when i get back if i need to change it up again...
