I keep hearing New Balance are the pick of the litter when it comes to running on flat feet. What say you?

My wife does a lot of running. For years, she was told to go to a running store and get fitted. She finally did, and paid a little extra for a pair of shoes that fit. That was about 6 pairs ago. It was worth the money for a one time fitting. Now, that is the brand of shoe she buys, and she learned what a good fit feels like.

And yes, my brother has flat feet and always wears New Balance.

Go to an actual running store and get properly fitted. Many will have treadmills and can do gait analysis to ensure that you are put in a shoe that works for you. I have flat feet and the one pair of NB I had made my knees hurts on any runs over 4 or 5 miles. I use them to cut grass in now.
