I am trying to put together a random kind of playlist. Tell me your number one workout song - and try to think outside the box. I already know about Eye of the Tiger... LOL

For example, my new fav is Rumor Has It by Adele.... :)

I like Kelly Clarkson's Stronger when I'm on the bike. It helps me get over those 'climbs' :)
  • The full title of the song is Cobra Starship - Middle Finger (Bingo Players Remix).

I put "Stronger" and "Power" by Kanye West (even though he's a giant DB..), along with "Waka Waka" by Shakira on repeat all the time. They're just very upbeat songs that make me want to move! I also love "M79" by Vampire Weekend and "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" by Eve w/ Gwen Stefani (oldie but a goodie!). "How You Like Me Now" by the Heavy is a great one, too!

I have to change up my playlist often-- I have musical ADD. ;)

B.O.B by Outkast is one of my all time favorites. I also like Drop It Low by Ester Dean ft. Chris Brown, and recently, I've discovered that Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne is great for cardio. I am quite embarrassed to admit that but it's got a loud, fast beat. :blushing:

And I've got Rumor Has It by Adele on my iPod, but it never occured to me to add it my cardio playlist. Thanks!
  • "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven... Perfect for keeping a steady pace running ^_^

I am normally a rock and blues girl but when it comes to the gym it's usually rap/hip hop.

Top 3 songs that I HAVE to hear while doing cardio:

    1) Til I Collapse by Eminem <
That one makes me push myself a little further each time.
    2) Disco Inferno - 50 Cent
    3) Lose Control - Missy Elliot

They're older songs but work for me every time.

Oh yeah-- Britney Spears' "Piece of Me" is another one I will play 5x in a row.

And in case anyone doesn't understand this already -- there is no shame when it comes to the workout playlist. Whatever gets me shakin. (And I'm a huge music snob in real life.)
