white rice vs brown rice

I'm confused, I've always heard white minute rice is so evil, so bad for you... so I bought whole grain minute rice. The white rice I have is 'PC Enriched long grain rice' the brown is 'Minute rice whole grain brown rice'. But when I compare the nutritional ingredients... they are vertially identical. What am I missing here?:huh:

I was wondering the same thing about white rice. I never see a lot of Japanese or Chinese people who are "huge" or "large"...and white rice is served at almost every meal they eat:huh: .0

Thanks for the link, seems the difference is quite subtle, boils down to brown rice being less processed and not losing the good fat and fibre content.0
