Name one thing you want to do in your 40s that you were not fit enough to do in your 30s....

Or fill in the blank...
Name one thing you want to do in your XXXs that you were not fit enough to do in your XXs...

  • Sit in a chair and cross one leg over the other with ease. I know it sounds so trivial but I haven't been able to do this for a very long time.

This year In my 30's (almost 40's) I'm going to do a 210 mile bike ride (2 days) and run a Warrior Dash. No way I could have done that in my 20's.

    How 'bout you Tues?

In my 40's I want to run a half marathon to raise money for Crohn's Disease research. I have not been able to do this in my 30's.

    It's more than one thing but . . .

I started this journey in 2010, and now at age 42, I am the healthiest I have ever been.

In Oct 2010 I completed my first 5K, did another 5K in OCt 2011 and just this past weekend
did my first indoor triathalon. I am signed up to complete my first WarriorDash in May of this year.

I am always looking for new goals to keep me challenged and prevent boredom. I don't really "enjoy"
running, but am looking into some sort of bike race in the future.

In my mid-20s I can run 3 miles. I couldn't do that when I was younger. Even though I weighed less then, I couldn't even run a mile in my teens.
