looking for a good protein shake

I have tried a couple types of shakes (Arbonne, HMR), but want to know about any good suggestions. I am looking to get more protein in my diet without too many extra calories. Some have only 10 grams of protein where others have 20 mg of protein. Some can get to be quite expensive too! So far I've stuck with vanilla shakes, blending in spinach and berries or PB2 and banana.

Any suggestions for tasty protein shakes?

Also...what do you blend with them for extra nutrients and added flavor?

I love Premier Nutrition chocolate protein shakes...they taste really good, have 30 grams of protein, 160 calories, and very little carbs, fat and sugar. The best protein shake I've tried so far. Where I live I can only get them at Sams Club (wholesale supermarket).
  • For me personally I love the Herbalife products including the protein shakes. I am down 100lbs in the last year and feel better than I have in many many years. Feel free to message me if you have any questions on the herbalife products.

I use shakeology on a daily basis which is great for me. I use it everyday for breakfast so that is one less meal i have to stress about. Here is the breakdown for one serving of shakeology:

    140 calories
    17g protein
    1g sat fat
    17g carbs
    9g sugars
    3g fiber

And this is what it has in it:

Shakeology contains over 70 ultra high-quality ingredients conveniently
located in one glass, to deliver nearly all the nutrients you need to maintain
    a healthy diet. It’s good for you—and good for everyone—because everyone’s
diet is deficient in some of the key nutrient groups packed into just one
    Shakeology serving:*
    • Protein from whey, which is highly absorbable, gives you 8 essential
amino acids that help you build muscle, lose weight, support brain
function, and keep your skin and bones healthy.
    • Vitamins and minerals support optimum health.
    • Antioxidants boost the immune system and help reduce free radical
damage that can lead to heart disease, heart attacks, blood pressure,
    and stroke.
    • Phytonutrients support immune function and have anti-inflammatory
properties. Many phytonutrients have antioxidant properties as well.
    • Prebiotics support digestive and immune health.
    • Digestive enzymes help in the digestion of foods and increase the
absorption rate of those foods for optimum health.

And here are some proven results of it:
As part of the recommended Shakeology
program of replacing a meal with one
shake per day, along with regular
exercise and a balanced diet, participants
    experienced even more remarkable health
    improvements.
The study also showed that participants
    were able to:†
    • Reduce total cholesterol by 30%
    on average
    • Reduce LDL (“bad”) cholesterol
    by 38% on average
    • Reduce cardiovascular risk ratio
    by 24% on average
    • Reduce oxidative damage caused
by free radicals on average by 45%,
which can help decrease the risk for
    developing degenerative conditions
like heart disease, dementia, and arthritis

HTH! Let me know if you want more info! I would be more than happy to send you a sample if you are interested.

Optimum Nutrition Natural is almost the best you can get. It's manufactured INSIDE the USA so they have to adhere to much stricter standards and there's less contaminants and toxins in it. Slightly behind that is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard...which offers a lot more flavors. Do some research and you'll see that what I'm telling you is right. A lot of these companies outsource their protein manufacturing to third world factories. :/
