I don't suppose anyone else has MS do they?

Hi all, you all seem like experts, which is apparently more than the GPs/dieticians I've seen! I have MS, and until last Sept I was 8st 10, which was wonderful. Size 8-10, and loved it. THEN I made the mistake of finding work, and piled on a stone in 3 months, having changed abslutely NOTHING in my diet, and gotten more exercise. :'( This weight won't shift, I've been using MFP for the last 4 months, and nothing. I've trued WW, and nothing.

It's so disheartening. I was so happy when I lost 2 stone to get to 8st 10 in 2009, then I happily kept it off until I started my job.

I don't know what to do. I go on the exercise bike EVERY night, I never eat more than 1400 and that's the absolute maximum. I was worried about 'starvation mode' but then my dietician said there was no such thing and just to eat 1200-1400 calories.

I'd love to be able to walk everywhere, and be as active as I was before MS, but nerve damage has put a pretty much total end to that, and GPs won't give me anything for weight loss until I'm obese, at which point they will say I shouldn't have let myself get like that.

None of my clothes fit, and I feel so disgusting I'd happily get hold of local anaesthetic and slice the chucks of fat off :(

Hi! Quite a few of us on here with MS. Sorry you got it as such a young age :( I was diagnosed when I was 35.
