Morning all!
I am on a limited budget and space. I was wondering which at home elliptical do you prefer? I would like to purchase one that does not plug in. I have found 3 at Walmart that seem they will get the job done. But I if you have found any somewhere else let me know.

I have a Weslo Momentum 3.8 that I got at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago (and just started using regularly now). It has a mini readout for RPM, calories burned, time, pulse, etc that takes batteries. It's fairly comfortable, although it does rock a bit (I am a fairly hefty chica, though getting smaller every day!). It also squeaks like crazy - but I just need to grease and tighten some things to take care of that.

It's definitely not as nice as what you'd be on in a gym, but it will get the job done!

Thanks, This was one of the models I was looking at. I know the stride on the cheaper ones are shorter than the gym ones. But I need to shorten my stride anyway My running form has gotten too sloppy with years of no practice.

i got a pro form, it was 499 on sale, it is great. make sure the flywheel is heavier and you have a adjustable stride length. i tried some of those cheaper versions like tempo and they are terrible!

I use a Schwin 420 5 days a week without any problems. You can get one on amazon for about 500 bucks. But to be honest I wish the stride length was a bit longer than 18" (and I'm only 5' 7"). I might have to trade up. The best elliptical is the one you use consistently.
