I've been (loosely) following Jamie Eason's Live Fit program. I like having a routine spelled out for me, since I'm fairly new to weights.

Are there any other programs anyone can recommend? I'm looking for something that's already structured for me, I just work better that way (if left to my own devices I'll probably get ADD and not stick to a routine).

I've tried browsing around bodybuilding.com for more like Jamie Eason's but I'm either a) incompetent or b) there just aren't any as well laid out as hers is.

Thanks :)

Check out the book "The New Rules of Lifting for Women". It's awesome. There is an official group here on MFP that are following the program and you're welcome to join us. Under the Community tab, click on Groups and do a search using NROL4W. Spend some time reading the threads.

Congratulations on making the wise decision to add strength training to your fitness & health journey.

  • P90X!! It's really good and easy to follow. Made for all body types/weights. It's a great daily program and has great results.
