Stress fracture?

I think I have a stress fracture in my foot...after my run on Monday it just started hurting when I put weight on it. I did yoga on Tuesday, which was generally fine unless I put weight on it, but nothing yesterday. I want to do a spin class tonight (I have a half marathon to train for and don't want to lose too much ground!), but it's hurting now just from walking around on it. Should I skip the spin class and try to give it another couple of days to heal, or should I go to spin? Any thoughts would be really appreciated!!

Doctor. You should see one.0

Did you run a lot farther than normal or was it a pretty normal run for you? The reason I ask is that I am also training for a half marathon. When I first upped my miles from 3 to 6, I hurt my foot and could barely walk on it for nearly a week. Turns out I have arch issues. I overpronate "and" they tend to collapse when I run long distances. I got new stability shoes which corrected it and now I no longer have foot pain when I run.
With all that said, if you decide to spin, I would stay sitting. The standing part might aggravate it.0 -
Went to the doctor yesterday and got an x-ray - still pending results, but she said that it would probably be OK to do bike rides. It was a pretty normal run, and I have never had issues with my arches before. Sigh. Am thinking I probably need to skip it.0

I know this is a few days late, but I just want to say be very careful if you do decide to exercise on it. My doctor also told me it was "ok" to continue doing things as normal, and actually encouraged me to workout more. This advice lead to permanent nerve damage in my foot It wasn't until I saw a proper podiatrist who was able to give me a boot and proper treatment that I healed properly.0

Consult with your doctor please before you cause more damage....the best thing to do is wait for that doctor to tell you what is ok.... thats what they are there for....0
