NSV...given by my son

Okay, so we all know that 20 year old sons do not pay close attention to their moms...to busy paying Attention to other females. Today,as I was saying good bye to my 20 year old ,in perfect shape, works out everyday and runs marathons, Adonis of a son, he gives me a big hug and tells me how great I look.
" I was looking through old photos mom and you really look amazingly different. I am really proud of you and you should be proud of yourself. Keep going" I squeezed him hard, said thanks, got in my car and promptly burst into tears! kids say the darnedest things!

    aaww i love it! those are the compliments that mean the most. maybe one of my boys will say the same to me when they grow up! a girl can dream lol. congrats on your success!

    Awesome! My son told me one day he never thought he would see me run. He was teasing me, but he said, "I'm really proud of you, Mom." Made my day.

    Awww that made me cry! I'm hoping to have a similar story to tell after my son graduates from high school. My boys live with their father in a different city and don't know that I'm actively losing weight.

    I LOVE that! It's a wonderful testament of LOVE when those around you recognize your transformation and tell you how proud they are of you! I had one of those moments a few months back when my daughter told me how proud she was of me before she went back to Florida. Cherish that memory, and know that God is smiling on both of you!
