Calories Burnt During Videos

I am curious how people enter/categorize workouts from videos they do at there house. I have the Insanity and P90X DVDs, but I have not started doing them because I want to get as accurate of a calories burnt count. Are such workouts considered aerobics, circuit training, or what? Also, how do you accurately know how much time to enter because there is a lot of starting and stopping on some of the DVDs or they have long warm up, cool down, and stretching sections?

Hi,
I have been doing Insanity and think the only way to know the calories burned is with a HRM. Both my daughter and I have been doing and she will burn up to 750 cals in a session and will do up to 450 according to our HRM. The difference is due to our fitness levels, age, weight, height etc. With such a variation the HRM is the best way to have a more accurate number.
For the time, I just put in the time according to my HRM.
