To walk around naked in the locker room at the gym?!?!? I get being comfortable with yourself, hell, more power to you...but REALLY?? I can appreciate the beauty of women all shapes and sizes as much as the next person, but i just get uncomfortable.

Just sayin'....

Maybe it's just me that thinks this way though.

    funny thing is i guess wouldn't be bothered if other guys walking naked had my body shape or better, but it's always the chubby and hairy 40 + year old something guys lawl

    OMG, I would totally do it at home, no doubt about that.

    Not in front of my kids though. That's just weird. They don't need to see me like that.

    I think what prompted this was on Tuesday I was at the gym and there was a woman walking around naked and I all I kept thinking as I was putting my stuff in my locker and getting my shoes on was "STARE AT THE FLOOR, STARE AT THE FLOOR"

    You wouldn't like the spray tan rooms then pre comp. A room full of muscular men completely stark bollock naked. You lose the worry after doing that about locker rooms and the like :laugh:

    I don't shower at the gym. Only use the locker room for my things and to change shoes. Naked people don't "bother" me, I said that I appreciate beauty in all shapes and sizes, but it just caught me off guard.

    I was just going to post this topic, but about if it is really necessary to walk around with clothes on in the locker room! Or really anywhere. Clothes are such a downer.

    OK so I do not care if I can look at the floor and not watch you flaunt your carcass around the locker room, but some of these woman are so nonchalant about being naked and striking up conversations with clothed people changing shoes. You look up and have bush in your face. No thank you. I think if you are going to be naked, save the conversation until your underwear (minimally) is on. :)

    LOL I can so relate to this! I have already warned my fiance....once I lose this weight and get fit...you better believe I will be wearing as little clothes as legal....cute little bootie shorts and half shirts!! Didn't get to do it when I was young but you better believe I will!

    Hahaha!!! I have to be totally honest...the first thing I noticed was a giant fur bikini, and that's when I got scared. Maybe it wasn't the nakedness so much. :wink:

    I'm almost always naked when using My Fitness Pal. Sometimes I start clothed, but then I see some of your guys' photos.

    HAHA, It seems like the last few times I went to the gym, there was always that naked old guy standing in front of my locker and bent over looking at me with his brown eye.

    my 13 y.o. isn't supposed to use the family locker room anymore, and I'm not sure I want him in the men's locker room with all the naked guys letting it all hang out. But after a swimming lesson, what are the other options?

    Naked in the locker room is fine with me but when I see them naked in the sauna and hottub, I get a little grossed out! Some of them dont even sit on a towel in the sauna! . Totally gross!

    LOL I can so relate to this! I have already warned my fiance....once I lose this weight and get fit...you better believe I will be wearing as little clothes as legal....cute little bootie shorts and half shirts!! Didn't get to do it when I was young but you better believe I will!

    I actually told my fiance that exact same thing a few days ago. I told him to be prepared. His has no issue with this lol.

    Honestly, I wish I had the confidence to do that (after all, we all have the same parts), but women can be mean and I don't want anyone making any snide comments about my stretch marks or loose skin, so I tend to make sure I have at least a towel around me at all times in the locker room.

    I am with you; a modicum of modesty has become seriously underrated in today's society. Stark naked is for private time with one's significant other or total privacy. Just because some folks are comfortable exhibitng their gentalia doesn't mean others want to view it. Drape a towel, people!

    Well this should have been in the initial post. Body hair grosses me out, but again, such is the human body.

    Thanks, but I've seen me naked. Believe me when I say that I benefit from a bit of cloth covering up the icky parts.
