I just recently downloaded this book to my Kindle, and I'm nowhere near finished reading it. However, I do have a question. Are any of you out there doing this program and doing all the work from home? I've been exercising from home for the past 10 years, and have absolutely no intentions of paying for a gym when I can get it for free at home ;-)

If you do, what type of equipment did you need to get started. I currently have dumbbells, pull-up bar, stablity ball and thats about it!

I go to a gym..but if you are starting out..the weights you have at home will probably be ok...Its when you get stronger where you will need bigger weights.. Try Craigslist..loads of stuff there..from squat racks to dumbbells..give it a looksy

I also just started reading this. I think you could get most of it done at home. And the idea about Craigslist is awesome. Plenty of people drop their workout routines and need to sell bars and benches and dumbells.

Yes come on over!!! My husband made me a step (22 inch high) for the step ups and last week I bought a small step (3-6inch) for doing Stage 2. At the moment I've not purchased any other equipment. I've done lat pul downs with a resistance band because I didn't notice the alternative in the book until I'd done with stage one!

I had mine on the kindle originally but found it very difficult to flick through like a book to keep referencing moves. In the end I purchased the book also and find this a lot easier to find things.
  • You can get all kinds of weight training exercises online at crossfit.com. There are also crossfit workouts that you can do without equipment. Do a search of Crossfit on the go. Tons of stuff. ;)

I didn't think about using resistance bands the lat pulldowns! Don't have a bench, or anything that I can conveniently use as a bench, so I can't do the alternative shown in the book. I thought about substituting dumbbell upright rows, but your idea is much better.
