online personality ~vs~ "in real life"

I'm actually a computer generated response designed to string together polysyllabic words based on a mathematical logarithim of forum thread postings.
By day, that is.
By night I'm the boy next door.

I'm pretty much the same, although I don't use the words, slutty, *kitten*, trampsy, hooker or skank nearly as much in real life :laugh:

But to answer the original question, I'm pretty much the same with the exception of asking random strangers to be my friends..... I'm a little quiet and reserved at first but once I get to know you and feel comfy around you then you can't shut me up! Believe me, my friends have tried

I m exactly the same in real life as I am in here,pour a few drinks down my throat and it gets worse. But im totally awesome so its ok.

IRL I have to warm up to people. But give me a bit of time and I'll talk about inappropriate things and laugh at my own jokes; pretty much like I do online.

Im more weird and cute in person. Kind of loud and inappropriate as well. Im pretty dull on the phone... I have no idea how people perceive me on the internet. They probably think I am a freak! Haha

I'm the same in real life if I'm comfortable with the people I'm around. If I am with an unfamiliar person or group that doesn't know me I am shy and reserved. When we're familiar with each other I'm absolutely coo-coo-craaaaaaazy!

Online people can be whoever they want. In person sometimes people are just weird. Online some act all hard and like they are deep and edgy but in reality that suck pretty bad. I only like those who are really authentic and have a personality. It does show online.

I'm very shy in real life and only talk to one person about weight related things ever... Hence the ambiguous profile pic and pseudonym!

I think my personality is pretty consistent both online and offline.

For me it depends on who I'm talking to, both in real life and online.

I go to a lot of different forums. I visit a few that are about spiritual/religious things and I tend to be a little more serious and informative there.

I also go to a forum for parents (it's mostly women, lol) and I'm more myself there. I tend to be sarcastic and humorous, much like I am in real life.

Here on MFP I'm sort of mellow. This is the place I come to for fitness, nutrition, and health concerns. I'm sure as I get used to the community more my personality will shine through better.

I just had this conversation with a friend I know through this website. I'm the same person online as I am off. But I do believe some people find it a little more freeing to be open online with new people that they will probably never meet.
