Hi i was wondering if anyone on this site ever tried the ten day juice diet that is on this documentary. Im healthy right now and just wanted to see how it worked. If anyone tried it did it help them, how did they feel and what benifits did they reap. I am going to try this for 7 to 10 days, and just wanted to see if anyone tried it. Im really looking forward to feeling healtier and more energetic. Any info is appreciated. ^_^

I recently watched this documentary, and I've thought about doing a 7-10 day juice fast, too. I'm anxious to see the responses that you get.0

My doctor once told me that I was fat enough (this is paraphrased) that I could do pretty much anything I wanted to my body, food-wise, for about a month. It all DEPENDS on where you are health-wise.0

i didnt see the programme (was it a US programme?) but im thinking of doing a 24 hr detox....of just drinkin water and herbal detox tea.....i only have a hand blender so dont think it would work otherwise i would give it a go.....ive just read on a site that you are supposed to take a natural laxative the night before so your bowls are cleared out.0

I would highly recommend it if you have support of family and friends. I did it for 21 days and lost 7 kg.
In an ideal world you would be on holidays at home or some remote location where you can rest and concentrate on what you are doing. The first 3 days are the hardest, but once you get over that, its a breeze.
I even managed to do long walks on the 21 days because I had this new found energy.
It cleanses you and makes you feel wonderful.
But be careful what you eat when you resume your normal eating patterns. Go easy0 -
Hi,
I haven't seen the documentary - just watched a clip. I have tried a juice only plan (http://www.juicemaster.com/) and completed it twice a few years apart. Both went well - I really struggled the first three days (with hunger) but I coped and pushed on. I felt great, and lost weight the first time, my skin looked great too. I didn't loose as much the second time, not really sure why. However, I can tell you that I had SERIOUS digestive problems when I began eating whole foods again. I found that I could only eat fruit/vegetables and olive oil. Sounds healthy but I'm not so sure about the impact on my digestive system. I have considered doing it again, but will only do two or three days (maybe over a weekend) at a time. I would talk to your doctor about this first just to be safe.0
