Mud Run Tips?

My hubby and I are doing a mud run with our business team at the end of this month. I have no idea what to expect! I had my 5k down when I injured my knee, but haven't ran since then. Can anybody give me any tips? I know my hubby is going to blow me away. He is in tip top shape, he coaches basketball, and plays several times a week. haha I'm not worried about winning, but I don't want to be last! I know all runs are different, but what have you experienced with some of the obstacles and such? Do I need to be training upper body strength? Any help is appreciated!

    I am doing the Tough Mudder in September. If you go to the web site. They give about 14 exercises for that. And it sound like you are doing something similar. Stuff that will get the heart pumping and lean you up. They are very similar to the P90X workouts. Since I already do the P90X, All I did was to start jogging since I haven't done that in forever. Might help you.
