I want to make a shrimp scampi, but not willing to waste calories over pasta. would it be good over quina or quino? (?sp) I have never tried it. also rec flavor

    Make sure you rinse the quinoa before cooking or it can get a little bitter. Otherwise it has a pretty mild, slightly earthy or nutty flavor by itself and pairs well with a lot of foods; sweet or savory. Doing a quick google search I found a number of shrimp & quinoa recipes.

    Scampi with the butter and garlic sounds like it would go great with quinoa, but the best way to know if you like it is for you to try it.

    it will be delicious. make the quinoa with chicken or veg broth :)

    didnt cover quinoa while cooking and it didnt come out rightt, so serviing over brown rice. .....next time!!!!
