I am wondering if anyone else has a problem figuring how many calories and carbs and protein for a homemade meals like American Chop Suey. I think the lasagna would be very simalar to the Chop Suey.0

I made a great low fat lasagne a few weeks ago. Instead of ricotta I used low fat cottage cheese (I know that sounds weird, but it worked) mixed with some low fat creamed cheese. It was based on this recipe: http://www.emilybites.com/2011/02/best-lasagna-ever-really.html
I also used lean beef to make a mince, and also included in the mince some finely chopped (in food processor) carrots, celery and onions.
It was great!0 -

Just made it the other night! I'd add more vegetables as it seemed to consist mainly of noodles and cheese and I love my veggies.0
