AGREE! Very mad at myself for letting myself get to this point.....having sooooo much of that 'ick' covering my body.

I hope you can forgive yourself. The only way to get through this is to learn to forgive yourself for past and future mistakes. You will have days where you over eat in the future. The trick is to not punish yourself and NOT feel shame and guilt and regret. Those are all negative emotions that have no place in a full, healthy life.

The only way to get through this is one day at a time. No more all-or-nothing thinking. A donut is not failure. A day of BBQ is not a reason to give up. A small overage of calories does not mean you give up for a week and say, "I've already screwed up. What's the point?" All it means is you have delayed your weight loss goal for one day. Get back at it, girl.

Any and every good choice is reason to shout from the rooftops. Ignore your shortcomings and celebrate your successes. It's the only thing that works.

So True, I have been at this for 3 months, lost 16.6 lbs. I do get frustrated. But I keep telling myself, It took over 48 years for me to get looking like this, it is going to take awhile to get down in size. And we all know that slow and steady wins in weight loss!
