i do about 1000-1200 cals a day and if i dont lose for a week or more i do a healthy high calorie day. that does NOT mean i got out and get a burger. i still eat healthy but i try to aim for 1800 cals. then go back to the usual the next day. kinda wakes up your body. it works for me anyways.0

Jumping calories up and down each day will help, with an average of around 1200-1400 calories. Keeps your body guessing. I had a plateau after doing a particular workout for a period of time so I had to switch that up also. For example if you are running, don't do endurance running each time but add sprints, intervals, and hills. Quit doing just zumba, and add in spinning class. Go to the pool and swim laps instead of going for the run. Switch it up and mix your calories and your body will respond. Also, make sure your calories are good "clean" calories and not just fillers. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!0

Eating 10- 20% under TDEE , your body will be awake 24/7.0 -
Hi
Thanks for that, I go to a ladies low impact gym 3 times a week. I have a breathing problem so cannot go to a normal gym.0 -
Hi
Thanks for your help, I think I will give that a try this week. I will let you know if it works. I certainly need to do something. I am using a Fitbit Ultra to track my activity. Started that on Thursday.0 -
Thanks for taking the time to reply. 7 years ago I became very I'll and had to take high level of steroids
As a result I gained 8 stone, this left me with a breathing problem. Since coming off them I have lost a total of 6 stone 2 of which since joining mfp. Because I still have the problem I cannot go to the usual gyms so go to a ladies low impact gym 3 times a week for 30 minuet sessions, which helps a lot. But I will give the mixing up my calories a try.0
