You can add me, I may not be struggling a lot, but it can still be rough even now that I am 2 years in. SO if your looking for someone to help with motivation, feel free to add me.0

I just started today so I can totally understand. I started the 17 day diet today along with my wife. Hang in there and we can certainly be each other motivation.0

add me if you'd like. Curious...what is 'this diet'? If it is just the calorie counting/ restriction...it was really hard for me for about a week and a half. I went to bed hungry, etc. That hasn't happened since. Hang in there0

I just started a week ago. So far so good. I wish you well and will offer whatever support you need. We all are in the same boat.0

Good luck to you! I am also struggling, but I am not thining of it as a diet. I am just changing things in my life that I know I can change forever. I think as soon as I would start a 'diet" I would be hungry just hearing the word.0

its no-carb, low calorie diet the first 4 days, then it goes to low-carb, low cal diet. 1000 cals a day and 20 carbs a day. but its high in fat and i dont like that. i go to the dr on the 13th im going to talk with him about it then.0

You seem to have it all on lock down, but here are a few tips that I found to work for me:
1. Make MFP your home page
2. Log in EVERYDAY, read the message boards post.. Keep your mind actively thinking about it.
3. Don't try to change too much at once, Implement 1 change every week or so. Little tweeks over time seem to work best or at least better than butt load of change all at once
4. Always be honest. We al fall on our way to the top, be honest, no one is judging you here... we all support eachother
5. Keep trying new things until you find what works for you (It took me a while to find my plan and it works great for me but I wouldn't push it on anyone else)
6. Its easier to lift weights than the burdens of carrying weight.
7. take it one day at a time.
8. Have a cheat day or meal, where you eat what you want
9. Try to talk to yourself as if you are talking to your child or loved one. Often times the thing we need most is to be a better friend to ourselves.
10. Smile.
Remember, in life you can choose to be the thermometer or the thermostat, You can choose to be a victim of your environment, or you can choose to control it.
I won't say good luck because I don't think that has anything to do with it!0 -
u can add me i will help any way i can0
