Gluten intolerance. Anger, moodiness, low sex-drive?

Does anybody here experience anger, moodiness and low sex-drive in relation to gluten intolerance? Or does anybody know anything about it? I have been suspecting for a while now that I may be gluten intolerant. I am very overweight. I have never been able to lose weight following a traditional low calorie diet based on the five food groups, such as WW. The only way I have ever been able to lose any weigth was on a low carb diet where i cut out all forms of wheat and grains (bread, cakes, pastries, etc), as well as cutting starches such as potato and rice. Just recently, I did that for about 3 weeks and I felt mentally clearer, calmer, I woke up alert and easily in the mornings and I was hardly ever hungry. My sex-drive also came back just a little bit. I slipped back to my old ways over the past two weeks and have just realised that I am cranky, irritable, tired, and short-tempered again. Sex drive has taken a dive and I feel foggy and have memory problems as well. Could this be gluten? My instincts say it could.

Can anybody shed any light on this phenomena?
