Hi Martina! My name is Martina too.
Anyways, I might send them a message because maybe they are getting discouraged and your message might be the thing that gets them back on track.
Them being on your friends list isn't doing any harm.0 -
If they havent logged in for a few days i would leave them on there, i mean some people have to go places to get online cause they dont have internet at home, so when they visit somewhere with internet they log...now 4 weeks is a long time..personally i would think that they probably quit, but i would probably still leave them on there, if you think they quit and u dont want them on there then u can just unfriend them. i dk i would feel bad for deleting them and then they got online and wondered why i did that, and they would have to wonder why forever when they just had some issues and couldnt log..i dk thats a difficult one for me.0

I just sent them all a message. Hopefully will get a reply. I prob wont unfriend them. As you say there is no harm in them being on there, there is just alot of them. lol. Oh well. I wont be a quitter. And I will be here for them if they want to rejoin if they have quit.

Hello, I am one of those guilty people who has not logged on regularly. Yes, I do need to lose weight and Ithink this website could help me, but we are in the process of moving house and country and in the middle of all that our computer broke down terminally as did our car, so life has got in the way of my daily log ins. However, I have been keeping pencil and paper records of all I have consumed, maybe not as accurately as on the internet, but I have recorded a 2 kilo weight loss. I am not particularly adept at finding my way about the various incentives on this site, i.e. communicating with other members so please, anyone, give me a few hints and tips. I will try now that I have a new computer to log in on a daily basis, once of course, I have negotiated the realms of Windows 7 !!0

Hello, I have posted a reply and hope that I have been successful. I am not particularly good at finding my way around the technicalities of web sites. I have failed to log in during the last four weeks because we are moving house and lack of access to a computer ( ours died ). There must be lots of people like me who would love to log in every day but things just happen and before we know it a week has past. It would be nice to do a weekly log in because it is possible to write down our daily intake, if we are serious about achieving some weight loss. Now that I have found a way to communicate via this website ( I hope I have ) I would like to hear from other Fitness Pals.0

It depends on how long I've known them.... if someone's been around for months then suddenly disappears for a week or two, I'll reach out to them and encourage them back.
If they're new, I delete them.
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and keeping control of your weight is hard. Logging in each day is easy. If you can't do the latter, there's little chance of achieving the former!0 -
if i see a post that they havent logged in for 3 days ill comment on it and ask whats up..if they dont answer or dont log in for another couple days, ill remove them. UNLESS i know in advance that theyre going to be gone for an extended amount of time.0

I would leave them on there. Honest;y if it wasn't for the fact that 1. everything I eat comes in a box with a barcode and nutrition facts and 2. I have nothing else better to do with my time, then I wouldn't log everyday and probably wouldn't even bother to force myself to.
I have a few friends that hasn't logged for a few days up to weeks, even one lady who hasn't signed in since the day she added me. I just figure they have a life to live and real life gets in the way.0 -

Agreed! I came back this time because an MFP friend sent me a message saying "Come back!"...that was it and here it is day #2, back on track for me after being away a long time.0 -

This ^^^ My "old friends" I will just leave - they normally come back in their own good time.....
New people that has friended me - and then dissapear I will leave for 2 weeks - if they still have not come back after 2 weeks I delete........that then makes "space" in my friends list for a few newbies that might be serious with their journey.....0
