    i have low blood pressure so its always been around 65-80. Lately though it has been 90-120 off and on due to my birth control i think and anxiety.

    Mine is in the upper 50's. My wife has her's around 70. Her heart although naturally higher gets to a higher point when she works out to. That makes it sound like I have a stronger heart. In reality you also have to look at how quickley your heart rate returns back to resting rate. Although her's is higher she comes down a lot quicker. A better indicator.

    Not bad everyone mostly...keep up the fitness and it'll get even lower!

    Last time I remember checking, a couple of years back, I was somewhere around the 75 mark :)

    There are other reasons why one's resting heart rate wouldn't be low. My resting heart rate is 72 (and I'm 38 years old), but I'm an endurance cyclist (riding my 3rd century in a 12 month period on April 1). My fitness level is quite good, even though I'm overweight. Even when I was cycling 125 miles per week my resting heart rate was still only 68. Some of us just beat fast.
