I just started and am learning the ropes. I'm located in Pennsylvania
  • I've added you too, also from England and I've only just started losing (know it says I joined ages ago but took me forever to get myself motivated!) so I'm looking for friends to help keep me motivated too :)

    Hey Maggie!
Having friends to surround and support you is half the battle in becoming more healthy! The great thing about MFP is all you have to do is reach out and many good folks will reach in to assist you on this journey! Thanks for reaching out! The support I receive from my friends (really more like family now :-)) has helped me loose 60lbs and the continued accountability is awesome! If you want to do this it can be done and YOU have what it takes to finish the race now all you need is a few friends to get in your corner and cheer you on along the way! Count me in! There will be days and weeks that you do really well and others... not so well but the key to succeeding in this thing is to never surrender! Don't Give Up! Don't allow those words to remain in your thoughts or vocabulary! I'm looking forward to your success and mine! Welcome to the MFP family!

    Blessings,
    Tommy
