Anyone else in the 1200 calorie range trying to loose the last 10-20lbs?! If so, add me! :) Love to see other people who are going through what I'm going through.

I'm 5'4", started out at 165 lbs, currently at 125 and working to get down to 120. When I was first starting out I had my goal set to 2 lbs per week (1200 calorie goal in the beginning), once I got down to 145 I lowered it to 1 lb per week (barely changed my calorie goal b/c I was smaller, I think it went to like 1210 LOL), now I'm currently set to 1/2 lb per week with a 1360 goal before exercise. I use a HRM when I workout and I eat back most of my exercise calories, so based on how much I workout that day I usually eat between 1600-2000 per day and I'm still losing. (slowly but surely) It's a good idea to slow down that requested rate of weightloss as you get closer to your goal. Helps avoid stalls in the weightloss and I suspect it might make things easier when it's time to start maintaining, too.... Hopefully.... LOL I also allow myself those wonderful 'cheat' or 'spike' days every now and then - usually once every week or two, although last week it happened twice LOL, anyway if I only do it once per week or less and keep up with my regular calorie goal the rest of the time (i.e. 1360 plus exercise calories), it actually seems to help. I do tend to eat a little lower than 1360+exercise if I know I have a big cheat coming up, so that it will kind of balance out at the end of the week. Seems to work well for me, continued weightloss and no plateaus. :-)

I am 5' 5 1/2" and weigh 137 lbs. I want to get to 125 lbs by June 1st. Just started today. So, about 12 lbs to lose. If I can lose 15 lbs then all the better......My weight has been slowly creeping up since I turned 45. I am now 46 and just want to finally get back to 125 lb which is the weight my body wears clothes well and I feel best at.....ALLof my clothes are tight and I am so uncomfortable in them. My pants all bind tightly at the waist and I have major camel toe because of the tightness....I don't want to buy new clothes so I am being patient about losing this weight. I am getting SO sick of strategically dressing to hide my added weight and changing 10 times in the morning to hide my added weight.... Not fat by any means but I don't feel good at this weight.....I hope I have others who are in the same situation. I truly have admiration for those who lose a lot of weight and keep it off. Kudos to you!!! Please don't comment how I shouldn't be here. We are all here for different reasons.....I walk one hour a day and do weights for my upper body only. I also do 100 sit ups a day. I truly believe that if I didn't do this type of fitnesse every day I would be much larger. I know what my problem is: I eat too much. I eat way too much of the good stuff and nuts and home-cooked meals. I am on a mission to stay below 150 gms of carbs a day and to stay under 1800 calories a day.
