30 DS AND Ripped in 30

Has anyone tried both the 30 DS and Ripped in 30? I have 30DS, and just bought Ripped in 30 this past weekend. How would you compare the two? Which one do you like better and why? I read that they both have the 3-2-1 system, and there are a few new moves in Ripped in 30.

What are your rants/raves about either of them?

Thanks!

Both are great programs. I started very out of shape (not that I am in shape now, but I am better) and I started with 30DS. It is a little less intense than RI30.

I like them both, but if you are new to workout DVD's I would recomend you start with 30DS.

One thing I remember when I started RI30 is that one of the week 1 exercises was a Level 3 on 30DS.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the post  I have a few DVD's (yoga, 30DS, and now RI30), so your advice about level 3 on 30DS being level 1 on RI30 helped me put it in perspective on how intense it is. I love Jillian Michaels for that reason...such a love/hate relationship

Haha! I so agree with this! I just moved up to level 2 of ripped today and found myself thinking this!

Both are great! I prefer Ripped in 30 because is has more variety. But I LOVE level 2 of the 30 day shred. I completed the shred in December 2010 and lost 7lbs and 12 inches. I am on week 2 of Ripped in 30 and have lost 3lbs so far. I skipped yesterday because I was busy all day! So today is day 3 of Week 2. I do not know what to expect in the rest of Ripped in 30 but I am sure it's great.

I just ordered Ripped in 30. I have been doing Level 1 of the 30 DS, and I am rather bored with it. Tried Level 2, but didn't like it. I'll let you know how I like Ripped in 30.
