Ripped in 30 Level 1

Did anyone else find this level too easy? The other levels are harder right?
Cause I've had no improvements like decrease in inches with this level at all and I would usually have some sort of change by day 7 of each level in 30 Day Shred. I just finished day 6 of level 1 of Ripped and while I did sweat ... it wasn't near what I usually do in terms of perspiration.

For me level 1 reminded me more of the shred and wasn't as bad as I expected. I'm on level 3 day 2 now and the workouts definitely do get harder. Haven't seen any real change in my body but that's probably because I eat horribly the first 2 weeks of the workout. So I'm cleaning up my act for the last two and will see what happens. I might just redo the first 2 weeks when finished with level 4 to make up for my earlier slacking :D Good luck with it! And don't worry, it does get intense. I really enjoyed level 2 and it's my favorite of the 3 levels I've done so far.

Yeah the other levels are a lot harder, I would jump up to level II if one is too easy. I think Shred and RIpped are hard in different ways. I alternate them, when I work out with one friend we do Shred, and another friend and I do RIpped.

Have you tried picking up bigger weights for more of a challenge? Level 1 was not as hard as I thought it would be, but level 2 takes it up a notch and level 3 does, too. I haven't done level 4 yet so I can't comment on that one.

I honestly struggled with this level..I liked it a lot too. Lost 2 lbs doing it. I am on Level 2 now..oh goodness. I can not finish the plank jacks/mountain climbers if my life depended on it. I am def happy I got the DVD though. I have lost about 4 lbs since I started it, and I am still not done with level 2 yet.

Unfortunately, I don't own weights bigger than 5 pounds. I'm only doing the modified version for the push ups and I'm planning on doing the unmodified version for day 7.... Although I'm tempted to just start level 2 tomorrow. It just feels weird not doing the full seven days of the level like I was planning on doing.

I struggled more with this level at the beginning, I was sore at first. I think I just got used to it quickly.
The third circuit hurts ... but I REALLY REALLY hate side lunges with the raises. I hate them on level 2 of 30 Day Shred too.
I think it's just cause it's so much like 30 Day Shred and my body is used to that.
Ugh ... plank jacks hurt sooo bad. I've lost like a pound since I've done level 1 of Ripped ... but I want to lose more inches.

I personally didn't find level 4 to be as tough as levels 2 and 3.

It really might be worth it for you to invest in some 8's or 10's at least. I use anywhere from 5-15 on RI30 so far. Okay, honestly there are only 2 moves that I use 15's on. LOL That deadlift in level 1 and the plank rows in level 2. Everything else I use 5, 8, or 10. But seriously if you can manage to get a bigger set to use on some moves, it will bump up the intensity a bit for you. Oh and I still have to do girl pushups. LOL :-)

Guess it's a good thing I like to do whatever level I'm on and then one of the lower ones as well. :-)
