What genre of rock do you listen to and name some of your favs! I need some more bands to get into...

    Oh where do I begin....it depends on what kind of ''rock'' we're talking about here. Some bands I listen to are Five Finger Death Punch [one of my favs], All That Remains, In This Moment, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Bring Me The Horizon, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, HIM, Hinder, KoRn, Madam Adam, Lorene Drive, Papa Roach, Skillet, The Vincent Black Shadow

    Omg so you are awesome! PAPA ROACH is my ALL TIME favorite band of any rock genre, hands down. Love love love Jacoby. Seen them the last two years in concert. But currently been listening to these bands, to name some of the few:
    Asking Alexandria (2nd fav band ever) Get Scared Bless the Fall Bring Me the Horozon Crossfade Bullet for My Valentine Miss May I Pierce the Veil Sleeping With Sirens Eyes Set to Kill Chevelle HAste the Day Escape the Fate (also love Craig Mabbit) AND ETC.

    Those are GREAT bands as well. I could probably name more that I like, but I'm afraid I'd be here alllll night...& possibly tomorrow, ha.

    I know and respect those bands. Pretty awesome choices. BUT I don't have them in my itunes. I like to scream and head bang and craziness going on. Lol.

    Deftones and tool... Pioneers. 2 of the greatest bands of all time in my opinion.

    In your days I would be right there with you. I listen to a lot of screamo, post hardcore, metalcore, melodic metalcore, etc.

    I listen to Industrial Metal mostly. My major band is Rammstein. I also listen to: Combichrist. Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and Twiztid.

    for me it's metallica ,Rammstein, nickleback, linkin park, system of a down, staind, my chemical romance, anything involving Dave Grohl (i love him....)

    godsmack is the most current one I know

    i listen to almost anything...no classical

    right now listening to what they play on the radio alternative

    green day
    foo fighters
    chili pepper
    and so on and so forth

    i work 3rd shift and it was making me nuts to listen to country and easy rock...not that i don't love those as well
    just hard to stay awake to.... and then low and behold they moved my desk and yay...i can p/u alternative!!!

    the classics, aerosmith, heart, pat benatar, lita ford, van halen, warrant, dio,white snake,alabama,stevie ray vaugh, slaughter, motley crue of course! lynryd skynyrd, fleetwood mac, dokken, bryan adams,(not really rock though). all good bands that you should check out if you havent downloaded them. and right now dont know if they classify as rock but they are gods, Theory of a Deadman

    Anyhoos.. From my armchair and behind my knitting (that counts as exercise right?) I like tickling my ears with a bit of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Jefferson Airplane and the like.

    On the ipod for running its mostly obscure German industrial dance music.

    - Emery (oh Gosh I almost forget them, I really like this band because every album is different form the previous!)
