Insanity Question...Where should I be?

So I started Insanity a few weeks ago, and I LOVE it! I did the first 2 weeks and had great progress, but then left for my honeymoon so I took 2 weeks off. We were SUPER active while we were away (hiking, kayaking, walking, even went to the fitness room a few times), so I wasn't a total lump.
When we came back, I started back up with week 3 and yesterday began week 4. My question is: Next week, should I do the recovery week? Repeat week 4? Go on to Month 2? I just want to make sure I maximize my results, even though I had a break in there...
Any suggestions would be great! Feel free to add me for Insanity support!

You could consider the weeks away as recovery weeks and just move on to month 2 or do weeks 3 and 4 again then the recover week. I don't know that I would take a recovery week at this point unless I was feeling really fatigued.
I have to say I find myself missing it even though it's only been 2 days since I finished. I feel kind of lost, like I have no plan or like I'm a slacker. lol

I'd personally just stick with the schedule. If you haven't got the results you want by the end of it then go for round 2. I plan on starting it by the end of March and currently plan to do at least two rounds of it for the summer.
So yeah, I'd do the recovery week especially since you did a lot of activity as that allows your body to develop and change to get ready for round 2 but at the end of the day, I suppose it's what you feel will be the best for you.0 -
Go to month 2, Insanity is just that insane. You have already taken your recovery week. Insanity month 2 is a great challenge. You can do it go for it!0

that's some conflicting stuff...I'm worried that if I dont take rest now, Month 2 will be awful...I'm also feeling like Month 1 has NOT gotten any easier.0

Hi,
I am on week 2, month 2. I suggest you repeat weeks 3 and 4, do the recovery week but replace the cardio recovery with one of the other first month DVD's twice then move on to month 2. This way you are ensuring you have a better base for month 2, but have had a bit of active recovery in there too.
