(Non - Scale Victory = NSV) It is asked every time.
So, last night my Zumba class was SOOOO full that I didn't want to bounce into people all night. So I decided to bike for a while.... La la la la biking for around 25 minutes, and my toes go numb. They always do, so that's why I don't do it for longer than 30 minutes. So, I decided to try something new. I've been reading about the couch to 5k program. So, I got on the treadmill. And by george, I was able to jog on the treadmill! Not for very long mind you. 60 seconds then a rest time. But I did that interval for nearly 30 minutes! I've never been able to jog on a treadmill. EVER. :ohwell: I can't wait until I can jog for a long period of time, but this was HUGE for me last night. That's all.

Great job! Love it when I try something new or that I previously couldn't do and it works. I'm fairly fit have been running for a few years, but it wasn't until this past year that I became comfortable running on a treadmill. That 5K is right around the corner for you, enjoy the accomplishment!0

Fantastic! I just started walking on the treadmill and I haven't dare to run yet. Hopefully someday soon. Keep it up.0

I just started couch to 5k and love it. I am only on the second week, but I am not giving up! Good luck to you and hope we will be running a 5k in no time.0

That's awesome! Jogging is all about working your way up. I jogged my first mile (at 4.0mph) in December and I was so excited I almost fell off the treadmill! But I've gotten away from it (lazy habits came back) so I'm working my way back up!0
