How do you get over your "fat day" blahs?

I know technically you can't emotionally "feel fat". It's more of a deeper issue, yadda yadda. I can't be the only one who just feels like "OMG I'm so fat and fed up!!!" And feel like binge eating.

I'm doing pretty good, since I feel this way today, typically I'd be polishing off a box of oreos or something at this point. Instead I'm guzzling water and working out.

What do you do to change your mood when you feel this way?

You're doing it! Drinking water and working out. Something is right with your thinking.

I know what you mean. I have those days too. You just have to mentally plow through them. There are days it seems I have every obstacle in the world keeping me from the gym or eating right - whether physical or mental. It's hard, but I notice it IS getting easier and I feel SO empowered when I conquer them .

hey hun i try workout as soon as i am up & got my daughter settled then i am in a healthier mindset for the day & also it gives me more energy. but if i cant fit a workout in & have a fat feeling day then i just try to do one active thing right then like while im waiting on lunch to cook i will jump rope with an invisible rope. its hard at first cus ur lifting ur own body weight but if u do a little each day u can do more & it actually burns more cals than jogging! or i will take my daughter to the park & just run round with her & even carry her instead of use the stroller if we go for a walk. she loves being in my arms more & even though it hurts ur muscles a bit it gets easier the more u do it. also when i feel like giving up or i'll never be fit i look at pics of athletes or read about fitness...like if i turn on tv i may switch to sport channel & feel like if that person can be strong & fit then i can we r both made of bone, blood & muscle right! or if im online i'll check out some before & after pics of people who have stuck with it & changed their life. i really helps me hun. dont worry tho we all have days where we lack confidence of feel bad about ourselves. we just need to concentrate more on the good days & think oh i loved that day - i felt great then. :D

Bright red nail polish! It sounds simple, but it really helps me feel better!
