why is it that heavier people lose weight faster (70-100lbs + ) than who are just needing to lose 20-30lbs... is it because of the way they think?? or the way they see losing weight.. its frustrating..

Because they are heavier, they can eat a greater deficit and so lbs come off quicker. Someone who has 100lbs to lose can eat with a 1000 calorie per day deficit. Someone who only has 10 to lose would starve if they at that.0

the heavier and more obese you have, the more calories you burn just moving around.
you also hold way more water the bigger you are, so that comes off more.
They are typically also losing a ton of muscle along with the body fat0 -
I personally think its because the bigger you are the more your body goes into shock when you start eating right and excersising. Even the people who start off "bigger" get stuck at the last 20 to 30lbs of weight loss.0

LOL. I need to lose 50 pounds (which I consider a good bit). I'm asking myself the same question -- why is my weight loss so slow? I understand your frustration. Oh, well, slow and steady like a snail gets you there eventually.0
