Advil, lots of water and go to bed early tonight if you can. Good luck!0

A hot shower, lots of water to drink, and Bio Freeze.0

Drink a lot of water....it will dilute the lactic acid that has built up in your muscles and that is what is making you sore...make sure you have your full 8 glasses today and tomorrow, it won't absolve the pain but it will lessen it and the stiffness and make it go away faster. Also, stretch when your muscles are warm like after the shower or a workout and keep working out. It will help to move everything out and allow the muscles to heal. If you are really sore you MIGHT have overworked yourself, so be careful until your muscles heal, you don't want to tear them. Other then that, keep doing want you're doing.0

did you do too much weight? I do kettlebells, I'm a girl & a Grandma - tho I can 'feel' it, it doesn't cause me pain. try alternating ice & heat. I KNOW the idea of icing your body doesn't sound pleasant but you'll be surprised how good it feels. and ibuprofen, of course. glass of wine wouldn't hurt either ;-)0

Two Words: Foam Roller.0

totally know how you feel...I went to qork after one one time, 3rd shift and I never ever ever did it again, but I love the bell for sure.0

Ibuprofen, tons of water, make good friends with a foam roller (it will hurt but it will help!) and don't quit! You will acclimate and feel like a badass in no time!0

Have a stock of epsom salt available at all times. Run the water hot and mix in 2-3 cups of salt, depending on the amount of water. It feels amazing for sore muscles and helps aleviate swelling from water retention, just make sure you keep hydrated. It helps with my knees and back a lot.0

here's another 2 words, I know it's terrible but it's what athletes do to stop the build up of lactic acid...Ice Bath.0

Already been said, but be sure to drink water. Personally, I like Arnica Gel for my sore muscles. (After a hot shower and Naproxin Sodium) I think it really does work for the pain. It's also great for bruises!! I buy mine from a health store near me. But, it's also sold on Amazon.
Hate to say it, but just so you're not too surprised...second day pain is often worse. It will get better. Don't give up :-D0 -

And you get one of these where? At a fitness store?0 -

Yep. My running store has them. Worth their weight in gold. But dig around in your kitchen tonight and find your rolling pin. That will help until you get the one made for sore muscles. They bend. Your rolling pin won't, but it will help.0 -
next time have lots of caffeine before and after (coffee drink or tablets will do it). caffeine is proven to prevent DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) - i do kettle bells all the time and drink coffee and rarely suffer from DOMS.0
-
all i have to say is that no matter how fit you are your first kettlebell experience will damn near kill you, lol.0

I'm sure you will feel better in the morning and it should get better. Just rest up and get plenty of sleep, take some pain relief if you need to. I really think it's work it, I love kettlebell workouts and plan to take it up myself!0
