I have read many things on this and actually Dr. Oz discussed it recently on his tv show. He said it is better to drink cold water because it takes more calories to warm it up. I have read that many times before as well.

I don't know a valid answer but I always try to have cold water so your body has to work a little harder to warm the water up.0

Doesn't really matter. The partial pressure of oxygen in cold water is slightly higher so it has a bit more dissolved oxygen in it, but you don't breath through water so... By the time the body absorbs the water it will have been brought to internal core temperature so it is inconsequential. Based on taste I choose cold.0

The body works harder when you drink cold water to warm it up, so you burn more calories.0

I don't think it would make a significant difference. I personally prefer cold water. I also add lemon to my first glass of the day.0
