This may be a stupid question...but do you MAKE the coffee first or just use coffee grounds??? Just slap me upside the head if it's totally obvious and I missed it...0

I made these as part of a Valentine's romantic dinner and it was a massive success. Easy to make and at 74 calories a square definitely worth it. I'm in the UK and used Truvia and extra light Philly so here's another variation on the recipe if anyone's interested:
Cheesecake brownie
75g wholemeal flour
60g cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
3 medium egg whites (2 large)
100g soft brown sugar
40g truvia
1 tube of Ella's Kitchen apples apples apples
1 shot coffee
2 tsp vanilla
100g Philadelphia extra light
20g truvia
1 egg
1 tbsp plain white flour
1 tbsp Fage 0% Greek yoghurt
1 tsp vanilla
I made 16 squares in an 8x8 pan and they came out at 74 calories each.

This picture is the same exact one used on Foodnetwork.com for their version which is 200 cals. I would still be willing to try this recipe but know that they my not look anything like the pic.0

I usually put the granules or fresh coffee grounds in like a tablespoon of hot water, let it dissolve and then just pour it in. Otherwise you'll get bits of coffee in your teeth!0 -
