Slipping away

Its so hard to slip up and start heading back into your normal routine... Most of the time I find myself really watching what I'm doing, what I'm intaking and so forth. Then there are some times where I have been finding myself going to fast food a lot lately. Although I think I'm eating healthy, after I input the info, its not as healthy as I was thinking. For instance. I went to burger king yesterday and got a Grilled chicken sandwich, it was 450 cals. and of course a medium fries was another 450 cals. so in just 2 items, I ate 900 cals. I don't like that. This week working 12-14 hours isn't helping either. Then you have the guys at work ordering out for everyone, and I find myself eating that stuff instead of trying to find something healthy. But its hard when I can't leave, and didn't pack a lunch the day prior. ughh..... The last thing I want to point out is I was really happy when I finaly had the scale drop to 199.8. I haven't seen it that low again. I'm stuck at about 204 or 203. I'm not really going over my calsa lot. Is it just because of the type of food it is?

If you can, try and look up the information for the meals before you order. I've been doing this a lot lately to make sure I don't get anything too high in calories. If you get the burger, maybe skip the fries or replace them with something a little more healthy.0

I would try cutting out most of the carbs and shocking you body a little bit by trying a Paleo diet for a few weeks. Try eating foods that do not spike your Insulin levels so much and you will start seeing a change.
Try to make sure that you bring healthy snacks to work and try to also bring pre made meals when possible. I would stay away from all fast food places if possible.
Hang in there and do not beat your self up so much when you eat poorly....you workout enough to burn off most of those calories.0 -
Do you eat tuna at all? Get some tuna and whole wheat bread and keep it at your office. That way you will have something low-fat and packed with protein and you don't have to worry about packing it everyday.0

I totally understand! I just gained a pound back, which doesn't sound like much, but it took me a long time just to lose 11 pounds. Just that one pound makes me want to throw in the towel and eat whatever I want! Eating out is a big part of our social life and it is hard to stay on track. I agree with the person who said to look up the information on what you are going to order before you go. I do that all the time and it helps me to make better choices.0
