Any ideas on how to tone my arms? I dont need big muscles- just looking to tone up some of the flab! I'm still new to the excercise scene. Any help is appreciated!

i use weights and do different types of lifts with them, i start out with one like a 5lb weight, and every two weeks i increase it to another lb, i do all kinds of different movements so they get toned thru-out them, i would try this, or go for walks with the weights u can attach to ur hands, walk up n down stairs *if u can, my knees hurt sometimes on the steps* with the weights, these are just the ideas i do when i can, hopefully they help

I do weights and machines all kinds of things. Take Measurements of your arms. they can be getting smaller and you may not know it. I do at least 30 mins of arm strength training 2-3 times a week. Make sure you work all areas of your arms. Girls can't bulk. It's biologically impossible unless you are taking supplements in order to make yourself that way. You will get toned. Remember it takes time. I've lost 4 inches off my arms in a year. Its slow progress even for someone like me who is a gym junkie. Just take your time and don't overdo it. You will get there slowly but surely.

My advice is to use dumbbells bc they are the most versatile and you can really work so many diff muscles in the arms with them...youtube is def a great tool for finding ideas on what exercises there are out there and proper form for doing them! That being said, remember that your diet will have a whole lot more to do with what you see on the outside as far as toned muscles...you can build muscles to you're blue in the face, but if there is still a layer of fat over them you still won't have toned and defined arms! Keep up the hard work though and you will def get there! I have been working out for a year and a half and am FINALLY just now starting to see some muscle definition in my arms...it has taken a lot longer than I thought but it's so worth it to finally be seeing a difference!
