I'm new here, but this looks like an awesome group and I would love to join!
My name is Jaycee Lee, and I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for years. This has led to unhealthy eating habits: I struggled with anorexia for a while, but lately I've just been compulsively binge eating.
I'm starting college in the fall, and I would love to lose some weight by then, and I would like to go about it the healthy way
I currently weigh somewhere around 155, but I will let you know my official starting weight tomorrow when I get up the courage to weigh myself. I would like to weigh 130lbs by the time I leave for college (end of August). This shouldn't be too unreasonable, as I have been retaining a ton of water weight the past few weeks by eating high-sodium foods and not drinking enough water, so if I drink a lot of water this week and not binge, =/ .. I should be able to lose the weight pretty quickly. That's why I also love this week's challenge! I will definitely try to drink half my body weight in water, but it will be super hard!
I'm so excited, I will try to post every day and I can't wait to hear from all of you!

Hello everyone. Sorry I have not logged on for a few weeks. I have beck and forth from my house and back homw to my Mother's house. Plus the kids and everything else. My Mother is 55 and diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer almost 2 years ago. She just went in to have a hernia repaired and they found more cancer in both if her intestines and colon. So she was not doing well for awhile. This week she is finally strong enough to start chemo again..yeah!!! So I do apologize for not checking in here the past few weeks.
I can not remember my star weight?? Can not find it on here either. I think 200. CW is 190.2 (do not remember last weigh in weight either but I do know I loss) and GW 140. Ok hope you all have a wonderful week and good luck this morning!
P.S. Jayceelee: hello welcome aboard. I too went through years of binging, vomitting and starving myself. You will feel 100% better when you stop and just start eating healthy. You MUST take contraol of your life and stop the downward spiral.....if not you will miss out in your life!!! Good luck!!0 -

Good morning everyone.
Anyone got a suggestion for my silly little problem. I have a small tree in my backyard and it has a Robin's nest in it. When I went out this morning...one of the babies has fallen out of the nest and is too small to fly. Looks fairly new - mommy is taking care of it and stuff...which is great. But here is my problem. First off, I have a small dog but he is fairly quiet and I hope he doesn't bother it...but tomorrow having a B/Day party for my daughter and son who are full grown..but I have 3 grandchildren that will be attending also. The party will be in my backyard. Any suggestions on how I can protect this baby. I was thinking of putting a glove on and seeing if I could place it back in the nest...but don't know if mommy will be happy with me and reject it and possibly the other babies if there is any. So looking forward to some suggestions.
Other than that...life is good and so happy with my weight loss. Feels good to see the scale going down instead of up. Been watching it for while now go up, up, up...and happy to see it going down down down. Thanks again Cyndee for the website and thanks to all of you for the support.

I'll be back on it its jsut my perseciption ran out between OBGYN visits. My husband is gone backpacking with the men in his family for five days or so. Hi Team! Well this week has been very special, because I get to connect on line to old friends (since Feb 09) and meet new ones. Still wogging, everyday and I'll lead the challenge. Drink half you weight in ounces. For me that is 103 oz. This week was a nice drop...ONLY because I fliipped the switched, CAME back to what works, and decided to get healthy.....Have a great day....Zano

My personal goal for the week will be 100 miles cycling and 6 miles running. I'm part of a relay run tomorrow so the run part has to happen. I'm getting in about 75 miles a week ridding. I'm going to try and add an extra 25 on that somehow.0 -

WOW Way to go on the losses. congratulations to all of you. keep up the good work. I was just plain lazy this week and kept pushing it off til LATER. Later never got here. So today I will meet the challenge of half my body weight in water - just going to round it to 90 ounces. Today I am also going to walk 10 miles and stick to eating healthly. Good - Luck everyone else yet to weigh in. Let's set personal goals each day and stick with them. We can do this.
Pawprint - I am fine. Actually having a rough week at work but where I work is a story and a half. I made my boss upset cause through all the problems my attitude did not change at all. He is wondering how I stay so positive through all the drama.

I'm going with the scales at work...It's the only scale that has been right this whole time... So I think last week I was way off...
I've lost one inch off my tummy for a total of two inches in a month

126 oz of water a day???? That's like 16 glass a day!! NO WAY. You'd have to build an ARK to keep from being flooded out when I go potty. I have never been a water drinker. Lucky if I drank 1-2 oz's in a day and that was only to swallow a pain pill. I've worked up to 4 glasses a day. I'll make a goal for 6 8oz glasses a day.

just been really tired this week, don't know if it's from stress, the heat, hubby's working so many hours so I don't get a break, or all of the above. today i'm going to the farm to get some fresh blueberries to freeze and some to eat. will be a great snack all winter, if they last that long! ha! i fell in love with frozen blueberries recently (the buy them fresh from a farm so they're sweet kind, not the store bought or frozen already kind that are always sour). so that's my new snack. i had planned on getting different fruits and stuff and freezing them, so bought a bunch of containers a while back... think they'll just be filled with blueberries, since i missed strawberry season.
was excited to go to dress barn yesterday and try on clothes in the "regular" section only. it was hard not to scream out "YES! YES! YES!" every time something fit. So I'm not going to buy anything new for a bit, lose a bit more so I'm comfortably in an XL (right now, usually it's a bit too tight to look good). I already see I'm going to have a problem with my chest, I have dropped some there, but not enough for how they make clothes. ah well nothing new, had that problem since 6th grade. although with what i have lost there, i no longer think about a reduction surgery because of back pain, it's really taken care of that. which is good, who needs the scars...
starting to wake up now (been laying on the couch while the boys played and ate breakfast, haven't even showered yet, which is unusual for me) so I guess I"m ready to start my day now. i think the caffeine is kicking in, LOL.

Im so stinkin excited! My friend called this morning to say that with all the warm weather, his pool is now clean and warm enough for swimming! We are going over later this evening so that will be my exercise today.
I did 30 minutes elliptical and 5 miles on the bike yesterday at the gym. Am happy to report a 1lb loss (altho it could be more because I was bad yesterday and had a bit too much pizza..lol.. so im prolly retaining some water)
Also... I for those of you not on facebook, I got hired yesterday and will be working at Safeway. Its just part time, but its still a job so Im happy for that! Its also a way for me to get my foot in the door to thier pharmacy (which I already have experience in) since they only hire for from the inside.
Off to clean house and do laundry. Working on getting my house in order so when I do go back Im not overwhelmed.0 -

Okay I am bummed. Hubby will be home soon and I have had to change for awhile. I can not seem to break 160. I've tried changing things up but it hasn't help. Anyone have some suggestions please tell me.0 -
Okay...ktndj...This is likely NOT recommended, but what seems to help me is changing it up throughout the week. One day I'll eat maintenance requirements, some days I barely get any exercise, I always try to drink at least 6 glasses of water (cuz water is important, you know...), but for at least 2 days a week, I'm really diligent about staying at least 100 calories below the recommended limit. I only do this if I have exercise calories, though. I guess my "method" is to try to get a message through to my metabolism...On the days I'm under, I'm hoping Mr. Metabolism decides to play along...
And, oh yeah...I guess my water goal would be about 63 ounces of water...which equals about 8 glasses. Huh...Just like they recommend...0 -

Today marks 9 days of being on track with food and exercise! (except I'm not exercising tonight because of TOM). I changed up my menu and ate basically the same thing every day to stay on my minimum calories. It takes less thinking and I know what I can and can't eat. Would like to lose another 4 lbs by the end of the month.
P.S. Drinking the water really filled me up, and my body has adjusted to it now. Not so many trips to the bathroom! I will keep drinking 80 oz of water (10 glasses). It works!0 -

First the loss of baby Kole my precious nephew at 36 days old..
Then my cousin dies of cancer at 47..
My uncle died in his sleep the other night at I think he was 67..
My husband, going to Texas, not going to Texas, maybe going to Texas and now for the only happy news so far is he is NOT going to Texas... He called Cerrudo and told them he is not going that he has work here in NV for the rest of the year.. I'm excited...0 -

I went this morning to get my hair done with high lights and low lights, then cam home and did some more weeding... yep I have a huge huge Garden and I think as soon as I finish the whole thing I am going to have to start over ha ha ha..
April is still hear with her girls they went to Ceder Point today they left out early and they just returned!!! we are having a really great time.. I so don't want Monday to come.. cuz she is leaving...:frown: :frown: :frown: This is what I will be doing on Monday....LOL

I have done the most dumbest and stupid thing, - I do a lot of dumb and stupid things but this one takes the cake- and it really hurts. So maybe if I tell someone about it, it will relieve the dumbness but not the pain. I haven been having lower back pain for about 2 days. So early this morning I decided to make a hot water bottle and use it to relieve the pain. Well somehow the cap came off the bottle and water by the way HOT water came gushing out. But instead of just getting up and out of the way I had to reach behind me as I was getting up and grab the bottle. You talking about DUMB!!!!!!!!!! Well it burns but I will live - I think.

Didn't get the water in yesterday but got a good start on today with it being 7:30am and 32 ounces down. I have also but in 2.8 miles. Going to work on both throughout day.

God knows I live with the back pain daily but I get shots every two months so I am able to walk and ride my bike.. if I didnt get them I sure wouldnt be able exercise... but anyway get well soon...

I just wanted to say how proud I am of you. You are a hard-working momma, wife, and you are doing the hard work it takes to lose weight too. I have always admired your spunk.
Keep doin' what you're doing. You have learned so much. Listen to your body. When it is tired, rest. In a couple days you will be refueled and refocused. There are only so many hours in a day, and you are making it work!

Also on the face book thing....your name is too common. You will have to add a little info like where you live or what school you went to so we can find you without a picture. Did the run leg of a triathlon relay. I sacraficed so my other two partners could do bike and kayak portion. I'm sacraficial that way.0
