I do an official weigh in once a week. But I get on the scale every morning before breakfast just to see my progress, to encourage me to stay on the path. Every couple of weeks I drop 2-3 pounds overnight, then gain back half of it the next night, regardless of how I've eaten. This happen with anyone else? Does anyone know why this would happen?

Once a week as an official weigh in is enough. Depending upon circumstances, digestion, stress, and any number of variables your weight can fluctuate during the day. Weighing yourself daily is counterproductive so don't do it.

This happens when you eat a lot of salt. Generally water weight. Least thats what it normally is.
